On the 29th June 2010, Remme-Los Self Help Centre in Gauteng received a new Ricon vehicle lift for their recently acquired Mercedes Benz Sprinter. This lift was donated by VAPOR RICON EUROPE and was fitted by Mobility One, a local agent for Ricon.

This new lift is ideal for boarding people with mobility impairments into the van to transport them to hospitals, meetings, work and social events, and allows for the safe transportation of quadriplegics and paraplegics.

The lift came from Europe and has a unique folding platform which stows away and provides an unobstructed driving view. The residents of Remme-Los SHC are thrilled with their new lift which is an amazing help to the residents and community, and expressed their sincere appreciation to Ricon Europe and Mobility one, for helping to change the lives of Quadriplegics and Paraplegics.
